my fav sun protection cream

having a dark skin, coming from a tropical country where the weather is at 35'C all year round with very painfully sunny days where it can tan your skin in just an hour, i always dream to have a fair skin. however not wanting to have my skin peeled or having micheal-jackson-like surgical procedures, i have no choice but to maintain my olive (more like a slightly darker olive) skin colour. having said this, please bear in mind that sun protection cream is not only for those who do not want to turn darker like me, but it is actually more for protecting your skin from pigmentation even for those who already have dark skin or even to those who have fair skin but want it tanned. please read more about what damage sunrays can do to you or on pigmentation problem. google it. educate yourself for your own skin sake. :)

anyway, having tried a lot of sun protection creams (i really mean loadsss since i introduced my face to it 20 years ago) i found that most of these creams make my skin looks powdery white after application or some of them became white stains on my face when i sweat or some have a thick creamy texture which is hard to apply or have not a very nice smell.

so my fav has to be...Lancome UV Expert GN-Shield SPF 50 PA+++...why? Well, it

- has the silkiest texture of all the sun protection cream i have ever tried
- does not smell (or in cosmetic term - unscented)
- does not make my face stark white or powdery white after application
- absorb quickly
- does not leave white stain on sweat

it is basically like a moisturiser but with a focused objective of protecting your skin from the damaging sun rays.

this is so far my fav. good luck in looking for yours!
